Cognify is a B2B subscription. Annual upfront, term-discounted, no hidden fees. Here's exactly how billing works — including what we will and won't do mid-term.

Why annual prepayment? Why no monthly billing?
Cognify is built for manufacturers running on annual planning cycles. Annual prepayment lets us hold prices flat (no surprise increases mid-year), invest in your account proactively, and offer term-length discounts that end up cheaper than month-to-month elsewhere. Billing rolls forward yearly until you decide otherwise.
How big is the multi-year discount?
Pick your term at checkout: 12 months (no discount), 24 months (10% off), or 36 months (20% off). The discount applies to the per-machine rate — bigger fleets pay less per machine on top of that bracket pricing. The price you see is the price you pay for the whole term.
Can we try Cognify before committing money?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial — no card required. You upload real data, get a real intelligence report, and decide whether the value is there before any payment commitment. The trial is the evaluation window; we don't do post-purchase cooling-off because the trial already gives you that without locking up your cash.
Can we upgrade to a bigger tier or more machines mid-term?
Yes — anytime. The portal has a Resize button: pick the new fleet size or term, see the prorated cost (credit for unused days from your current term, applied against the new total), confirm. Effective immediately. Self-service for OWNERs, admin-supported if you'd rather we do it.
Can we reduce machines or downgrade mid-term?
Reductions within an active prepaid period aren't part of standard service — the multi-year discount is conditional on the full-term commitment. You can pick a smaller plan freely at renewal time, no proration math needed. For exceptional circumstances (regulatory closure, force majeure as defined in T&C §9), email info@cognifytechnology.com — we consider those case by case in good faith.
What happens if our needs change completely?
The Sole-Discretion Exception (T&C §5.4) is our pressure-release valve. Documented business closure, regulatory prohibition, force majeure — write us, we read every email, and we figure out something fair. We can't promise a refund every time, but we won't ignore it either.
Which currencies and payment methods do you accept?
SGD for Singapore customers and MYR for Malaysia, billed in your local currency. Payment via card on checkout (PCI-compliant — your card never touches our servers). For wire transfer or invoice billing on multi-year plans, contact sales and we'll issue a formal invoice with bank details.
Where do I find invoices and payment history?
Inside the portal under Billing. Every invoice — new term, renewal, mid-term resize — is a downloadable PDF with NGIS legal entity, UEN 202403437E, your tax-ready details, and the line-item breakdown. Receipts are retained for the lifetime of your account.
What about taxes and the on-prem hardware fee?
Subscription prices are quoted exclusive of GST/SST. Singapore GST applies for SG-billed customers; Malaysian SST per MY rules. The On-Prem option adds a one-time hardware fee from SGD 2,500 — covers the physical appliance, install, and a 12-month hardware warranty. Recurring software fees stay identical to Cloud SaaS.
